This Guide is only suitable for Mk2 with a high series dashboard.
Most Fiesta's were built without a glove box light, don't worry it's easy to fit one if you don't have one.
Find a scrap Fiesta or Escort with a glove box light, unscrew the locking mechanism from the top of the glove box, cut the wires as long as possible.
Remove your locking mechanism, thread the wires from new locking mechanism over the top of the glove box to the lights behind the heater panel.
Connect the wires to one of the bulbs, you might need to lengthen the wires.
If you don't want to go to the scrap yard or you can not find one, you can buy them from Ford for around £5.
